Most essential oils are used for a variety of purposes, and many of these are discussed, and finally some commentary on their botany and extraction methods is also addressed.
MONQ handcrafts custom blends using essential oils sourced from reputable companies in the United States and directly from native suppliers in countries around the world. As essential oil supplies vary, we look to several vendors, such as Eden Botanicals, Appalachian Valley Natural Products, Lotus Garden Botanicals, and others to meet the needs of our customers. By design, MONQ personal aromatherapy diffusers require far less essential oil than traditional room diffusers, making our products the most ecologically-sound aromatherapy option available.
Every blend starts with non-GMO, organic, and/or sustainably grown and harvested wildcrafted plants from the United States and around the globe. The plant materials are then processed directly on the farm or with the US vendor, and the essential oils are extracted either by steam distillation, cold pressing, or CO2 extraction—without the use of alcohols. All U.S. sourced ingredients are Oregon-Tilth Certified Organic. Those sourced from international, native growers are verified organic by region-specific organizations and vetted by Oregon Tilth once in the U.S.
Each MONQ blend is designed to evoke feelings that help you feel the way you want®. MONQ’s aromatherapist and science team formulates every blend starting with three primary ingredients and builds from there—adding as many as 25 separate essential oils to create a terpene-rich, synergistic blend! Then, the handcrafted blend is emulsified in an organic coconut-derived glycerin base for optimal diffusion.
