MONQ works through a specific breathing technique rooted in aromatherapy: place the mouthpiece gently between your lips, inhale the aromatic blend into your mouth (not your lungs), then exhale slowly through your nose. As the aromatic compounds pass through your nose during the exhale, they interact with your olfactory system - the part of your brain directly connected to mood and memory. Yes. MONQ offers a CBD line that contains CBD isolate derived from American-grown hemp. MONQ CBD diffusers contain 0.0% THC and are non-intoxicating. The CBD used is pure isolate, meaning all other hemp compounds, including trace amounts of THC, are removed during processing. MONQ CBD products are available for select blends and are clearly labeled. As with all MONQ products, the CBD line contains no nicotine and no synthetic additives. Each blend combines essential oils and organic vegetable glycerin with CBD isolate.

No. MONQ CBD products contain CBD isolate with 0.0% THC. They are non-intoxicating and will not produce a psychoactive effect. The CBD used is pure isolate — all other hemp compounds, including trace THC, are removed during processing.

MONQ +CBD products are formulated with CBD isolate and labeled 0.0% THC. However, no CBD product can guarantee that it will not affect a drug test result. Testing methods, workplace rules, and individual factors all vary.

There are two ways to use your MONQ Original diffuser:

Mouth-to-nose method: Place the mouthpiece gently between your lips. Draw air gently into your mouth (not your lungs), then exhale slowly through your nose. The aromatic compounds interact with your olfactory system during the exhale.

AirTip method: Attach the AirTip accessory. Gently squeeze the soft tip to release a puff of aromatic air, then breathe it in through your nose. No mouthpiece contact needed.

Both methods deliver the same essential oil blend. We recommend 2-3 gentle breaths per session, 2-3 sessions per day.

The olfactory receptors — the cells responsible for processing scent — are located at the top of your nasal cavity, not in your lungs. Exhaling through your nose after breathing the aromatic blend into your mouth delivers the essential oil compounds directly to those receptors at full concentration.

Inhaling into your lungs sends the compounds to the wrong destination. The retro-nasal method is both the correct technique and the reason MONQ works differently from passive room diffusion.

We recommend two to three breaths per session, two to three sessions in sequence, two to three times per day. Using MONQ this way, each diffuser lasts approximately two months.

We recommend using 2-3 brisk squeezes for each use, 2-3 uses in sequence, between 2-3 times per day. When using this method we estimate that each of your MONQ diffusers will last two months.

MONQ Bottled Blends should not be used to refill your Original diffuser. These essential oils are not eJuice!

Yes. MONQ offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Refunds and exchanges are available within 30 days of your order being shipped. Returns must include original packaging and be postmarked within that 30-day window.

Orders totaling $100 or more must be returned unused and unopened to qualify. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping fees are not refundable.

We’re so excited for you to try MONQ R! Each device includes a FlipCase, reusable diffuser battery, and 3 interchangeable Blend PODs. The PODs can be changed by twisting them onto or off the diffuser battery.

Approximately 200 uses from each POD. When you buy a MONQ R device—each with three  Blend PODs—you get nearly 600 experiences of aromatherapy.

A fully charged diffuser battery will last approximately a week. Additionally, the FlipCase power pack is designed to keep the battery fully charged.

To charge the diffuser, simply put it in the FlipCase, and the MONQ R case will charge the diffuser for you!

To charge the FlipCase, simply plug it into an electrical source using the provided USB charging cord. The light on the bottom of the MONQ R will light up when it is charging.

Vegetable glycerin is the carrier that allows MONQ's essential oil blends to produce a consistent, light aromatic mist. It makes up approximately 80% of each blend's formulation, with the remaining 20% being essential oils.

Store MONQ products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and moisture. A properly stored, unused diffuser will typically maintain its quality for over a year.

If a diffuser stops producing mist before its expected life, if the aroma tastes unusually bitter or stale, or if the device appears damaged or leaks — discontinue use immediately.

Important: MONQ diffusers are sealed and should not be opened, refilled, or punctured.

MONQ Original and +CBD diffusers contain a small integrated battery and electronics. Do not place them in household trash or curbside recycling. Instead, take them to a battery or electronic-waste collection point in your area.

For silicone AirTips and other accessories, follow your local recycling program's guidance on whether they accept those materials. The EPA's battery disposal guidance has details on finding a drop-off location near you.
