In stark contrast, roses, with a mere 0.03% essential oil content, yield only 0.3 mL from 1 kg of petals. This translates to a staggering 100 kg (220 lbs) of roses - more than 1,000,000 petals - just for 30 mL (1 oz) of essential oil!
