Social Media Manager

MONQ provides customers with a convenient way to experience aromatherapy via our Personal Essential Oil Diffusers. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to work with our marketing team to develop and execute successful social media marketing campaign/strategies to well represent our brand.

JOB DUTIES

  • Successfully lead social influencer marketing strategy for MONQ, LLC
  • Research and identify key influencers, bloggers, and online media in designated verticals
  • Recruit and establish influencer collaborations
  • Negotiate and execute paid placements with social media influencers
  • Build strong relationships with high-profile social influencers
  • Craft quality pitches that effectively communicate MONQ’s request for promotion
  • Manage ongoing influencer partnerships
  • Coordinate and host Instagram livestreams to engage with our following.
  • Plan and execute all organic social media posting/publishing/marketing campaigns.
  • Work with external companies/entities to plan giveaways, collaborations and partnerships.
  • Manage all inbound gift bag/event sponsorship requests.
  • Assist promotion planning and brief creation.
  • Create and post Instagram stories.
  • Manage all inbound Influencer emails.
  • Manage all pre-existing Influencer relationships.
  • Manage Influencer team.
  • Constantly analyze all social platforms and recent posts.
  • Read comments and alert Happiness team of immediate action items.
  • Analyze tagged Instagram stories from followers, and add the successful stories to our highlight reel.
  • Help create social media campaigns for influencers to create content to feature product.
  • Find influencers to feature products
  • Work with influencers to create content, negotiate pay, and approve content
  • Maintain relationships with influencers for future campaigns
  • Create orders and send products to influencers
  • In charge of managing all influencer finances and contracts
  • Post and engage on all MONQ social media platforms
  • Research and identify key influencers, bloggers, and online media in designated verticals
  • Create quality pitches that effectively communicate MONQ’s promotional request
  • Build strong relationships with high-profile social influencers
  • Negotiate and execute paid and unpaid collaboration opportunities
  • Secure and negotiate earned and paid placements
  • Identify, establish, manage, and track ongoing influencer partnerships
  • Lead social influencer marketing strategy
  • Research and identify key influencers, bloggers, and online media in designated verticals
  • Craft quality pitches that effectively communicate MONQ’s promotional request
  • Identify, recruit, and manage influencer collaborations
  • Build strong relationships with high-profile social influencers on behalf of MONQ
  • Negotiate and execute paid and unpaid collaboration opportunities
  • Proactively identify timely angles and pitch campaigns accordingly
  • Secure and negotiate earned and paid placements including reviews, news items, giveaways, video segments, social media posts, etc.
  • Identify, establish, manage, and track ongoing influencer partnerships
  • Ensure proper FTC disclosure where applicable
  • Stay on top of industry trends, plus the latest social media advancements, and craft relevant campaigns accordingly

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Social media: acute understanding of, and passion for, social media as both a socialization platform and a lucrative business tool, most notably the platforms of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Blogging: acute discernment of which bloggers/blogs are an appropriate fit for coverage of MONQ, including their demographics, Google Analytics statistics, and general branding vibe
  • Writing and communication: must have strong written and verbal communication skills and experience communicating with both external influential figures and internal staff
  • FTC regulations: must have intimate understanding of FTC disclosure requirements in regards to sponsored collaborations and branded partnerships
  • Focus on wellness: interest in, and passion for, the health and wellness industry
  • Team player: the ability to approach each marketing campaign with a positive outlook and excitement about campaign initiatives
  • Creativity: ability to develop creative, engaging campaigns with influencers from various alternative niches (makeup, calligraphy, etc) who do not evidence an immediate connection to the MONQ brand
  • Discernment: ability to generate partnerships that resonate with the target audience and generate increased sales and exposure of MONQ in the online world
  • Organization: ability to handle a large number of campaigns simultaneously with excellent personal organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Technology skills: comfortable working with many different software to accomplish tasks in content management, customer service, and campaign maintenance, including Sprout Social, CoSchedule, Easil, Hopper HQ, and Aspire IQ
