Get a Good Night’s Sleep with Sleepy Roll-On Blend

Sleepy was formulated with sleep science in mind and features primarily lavender, bergamot, and chamomile essential oils to help you fall asleep and stay asleep.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender is one of the most popular essential oils, and for good reason. This essential oil relieves stress and anxiety, boosts cognitive function, and improves sleep quality. Lavender essential oil is most effective when used topically or aromatically. Luckily, the Sleepy Roll-On blend lets you experience the best of both worlds, allowing for topical application while still letting you inhale the aromatic benefits of lavender essential oil.1

Bergamot Essential Oil

Best-known for the distinct scent and flavor that it adds to Earl Grey tea, bergamot essential oil is packed with potent terpenes like linalool and alpha-pinene—which have sedative properties. This essential oil relieves stress, reduces congestion, and improves digestion. Between its powerful, pleasant scent and powerful healing properties, bergamot is an important addition to the Sleepy Roll-On blend.2

Chamomile Essential Oil

By the same logic that many people drink chamomile tea to lull them to sleep, chamomile essential oil has potent sedative properties. Chamomile essential oil contains both alpha-pinene and myrcene, both of which have stress-reducing properties. Most notably, studies show that chamomile essential oil improves insomnia symptoms when used topically or aromatically.3

The Science Behind the Sleepy Roll-On Blend

MONQ studied the effects of Sleepy on sleep and relaxation, using EEG. EEGs detect brain activity through small electrodes on the scalp. During sleep, four types of impulses occur: delta (1–4 Hz), theta (4–8 Hz), alpha (8–13 Hz), and beta frequencies (13–30 Hz).

The study found that Sleepy increased wave power in all four sleep wave frequencies by three percent. Sleepy also enhanced alpha+theta waves during sleep sessions, indicative of relaxed states. The series of studies demonstrated that the Sleepy blend effectively induces relaxation and promotes sleep.

Final Thoughts

To get a better night’s sleep, apply the Sleepy Roll-On to your temples 30 minutes before going to bed. Relax and let this handcrafted, synergistic blend of essential oils lull you to sleep.
