Hi and welcome to our MONQ Meditation Series. I’m Victoria Frazier and I get to guide you through our meditation today in which we focus on positive thinking and the release of anything that’s not self-serving to you. So you can be your most vibrant self.
One of my favorite ways to enhance my meditation is with essential oils. I really like MONQ Therapeutic Air. This is their personal diffuser in Vibrant, which is kind of perfect for today. It’s got lemon, ginger, and spearmint, and to use it, you take what’s called a MONQ breath. I like to take a nice, big deep breath first because you want to bring the therapeutic air into your mouth instead of your lungs. So when you take a nice big, deep breath and then you bring the MONQ Therapeutic Air into your mouth, and use your tongue to push it up past your olfactory zones and out your nose.

Super easy. I’ll show you one to start because I like to take one before meditation anyway. Easy, relaxing, puts you in a wonderful state of mind.
And now that you’ve taken your MONQ breath, you’re welcome to find a seated, comfortable position. Take your blocks if you have them if you have any tension in your knees, place them underneath your knees. You can sit cross-legged, half lotus with one leg up, or full lotus if that’s most comfortable to you. I like to sit on the ground and tuck my pelvis a little bit forward. Take your hand and make a fist and gently press it against your lower abdomen, because it automatically, your tail end’s gonna tuck underneath you a little bit and elongate your spine to give this wonderful line from your tailbone all the way up to the crown of your head, letting energy pass through freely. Make sure your chin is also parallel to the ground.
When you’re ready, bring your shoulders all the way up to your ears and extend them down your spine. I also invite you today to take a different hand mudra. This is called the sapna mudra in which you clasp your hands together, cross them over, and then you extend your pointer fingers straight ahead, and then gently rest them down by your side. This helps you to draw any unpleasant or unhappy energy out of you. So you can be your most vibrant self.
Now when you’re ready, close your eyes. Take a nice big, deep breath, cleansing breath let it all out your mouth to start. We’ll take one more deep, cleansing breath all the way from the pit of your belly, up through your lungs, to the top of your throat, we’re gonna pause. Take one more big sip of air. and sigh it out. Let everything go. Now begin to breathe solely through your nose. Letting the air pass through. Filling your lungs in the deepest part of your belly. Expanding your diaphragm. Up through your throat, and slowly exhaling it out.
Let each round of breath be a little bit longer than the last. And try to make each inhale the same length of each exhale. This round breathing helps to center you and bring you into this moment.
Concentrate on your breath. And with each inhale, you feel a little bit lighter. And with each exhale, let a little tension go. Scan your body and find that last little bit hiding somewhere, maybe in the back of your hip, or in the base of your neck, or behind your sinuses. Send your breath there. And with each exhale, let it fade away.
Think to yourself, peace. You have serenity. Positivity. You are worthy. You are lovable. Keep allowing your exhales to let go of anything that’s not serving you in your goals to be vibrant, positive, and happy. Take a MONQ breath if you’d like. Let the scents wake you up. Let the lightness you’re feeling, fill your spaces with a wonderful joy.
In these last round of breaths, on every inhale think to yourself:
“I am positive.
I find the silver lining.
I view the glass as half full.
I can be the best version of myself.
I bring joy wherever I go.”
Let your exhales remind yourself you are not unworthy. You are not unloved. You choose to be positive. Stay present. Be in the moment now.
Do one last body scan and on the top of your inhale, the very top, hold again. Take in a little bit more breath and sigh it out of your mouth for a nice cleansing breath and open your eyes.
