The lavender flower represents purity and was often used in soul-cleansing ceremonies and events that emphasized innocence and purity. It is associated with feelings of serenity and often used in essential oil blends meant for relaxation.1
Lavender is also a sign of love and devotion. In meditation, it can be used as a symbol of silence when you want to be alone with your thoughts and emotions.
Lavender flowers are purple, which is the color associated with royalty and is also the color of the seventh chakra located at the top of the head.
